Compare Anime Characters for Your Draft

A useful anime character comparison starts with the card you can actually pick. The archive lets you filter all 320 playable versions and compare two entries. These numbers describe AnimeDrafts decisions, not a universal answer to who would win in the original stories.

1. Match the form and the slot

Read each card’s scope before comparing attributes. Standard Giorno excludes Gold Experience Requiem; Jin Mori uses the listed TV scope, not every later webtoon feat. Each version has one assigned role in current regular drafts. Two Captains can be alternatives for one slot; a Captain and a Finisher fill different slots and use different weights.

2. Calculate the contribution that matters

Finisher weights Power 55%, Speed 25%, Strategy 15% and Support 5%. Kallen and Jin Mori both fill this role. Their values below come directly from the current roster.

Worked comparison: current regular-game edition
PickPowerSpeedStrategySupportFinisher contribution
Kallen Kozuki9094866088.90
Jin Mori9597856292.35

Kallen: 90 × 0.55 + 94 × 0.25 + 86 × 0.15 + 60 × 0.05 = 88.90. Jin Mori contributes 92.35. That is a 3.45-point difference in this slot, or 0.575 in the six-slot team average when the other five picks stay fixed.

3. Check the rest of the squad

A repeated anime world adds 0.70 to team strength. If the other five include a Code Geass teammate but no God of High School teammate, Kallen’s extra bond outweighs that 0.575 average-score gap by 0.125. If both choices add the same chemistry, Jin Mori has the higher pre-variation contribution in this example. Neither situation guarantees a battle win.

4. Compare what is offered

  1. Open the archive and filter by your current assigned role. Add an anime or premiere-era filter if useful; the era refers to the series premiere.
  2. Choose Compare on one card. Change filters if necessary, then choose a second card.
  3. Read the scope, attributes and weighted contribution. Different-role comparisons explicitly warn that the entries are not interchangeable picks.
  4. Use Copy scouting link to share your filters and pair. That link does not include your saved game or make those cards available in your draft.

Current regular drafts offer five role-matched options and two redraws for the whole run. Compare actual alternatives before spending a redraw. Older saved drafts, weekly events and Manage 82 can use pinned ratings or rules, so this archive should not overwrite their displayed values.
