Battle a Friend’s Anime Team

Anime Drafts turns a finished squad into a challenge your friend can open without an account. You do not need to be online together.

  1. Finish a six-character draft in unlimited or daily play.
  2. Choose Share team to battle a friend on your results screen. Copy the invite and send it yourself.
  3. Your friend opens the link, views your six characters, and chooses 17 or 82 battles.
  4. They draft their own six. The game runs each round against your exact squad and shows which team wins the matchup.

What is being compared?

Both teams use current editorial ratings, the same six role weights, and the same chemistry formula. Each round adds seeded variation of up to six points per squad; exact ties use a seeded coin flip. Mirror characters across the two squads are allowed. These are arcade results, not canonical claims about which anime is strongest.

Team battle or same-season challenge?

A team battle faces your friend’s six characters throughout the matchup. A same-season challenge instead pins the original draft pools, opponents and rules so a friend can test different picks against your score. Already-picked identities remain visible but disabled in a pinned pool. Neither changes anyone’s daily attempt or streak.

Save the result and invite a rematch

After a friend battle, choose Create public rivalry link. The server calculates the result from both lineups and saves a shared page with the host and challenger squads, round winners, and the selected 17- or 82-battle rules. Either friend can use that page to draft against one of the squads and send back a new result. A saved result stays fixed when reopened; a new rematch uses current ratings.

The result verifies the calculation, not player identity, squad ownership or whether someone used the offered draft pools. It is an unranked matchup, separate from daily and weekly scores. Save or send the link: no account recovery or public result directory is available.

What the link reveals

Anyone with the link can see the shared squad and record. An older score-card link may use a public snapshot rather than a replayable recipe; its claimed score is not a verified daily ranking. The team matchup still calculates both sides using current game values.
