ANIMEDRAFTS / GAME GUIDE
How to play Anime Drafts
Choose one character from five
Every new draft begins with five randomly offered Captains. Choose one, then confirm your pick. The next pool offers Vanguards, followed by Tacticians, Guardians, Wildcards and Finishers. Each candidate is assigned to the current role. Characters can come from different anime; you do not need to draft within one series.
Build six distinct identities
A squad has six members. You cannot pick two forms of the same person, such as base Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Goku. Different versions have distinct editorial attributes, and only forms assigned to the current role can appear in its pool.
Use two redraws thoughtfully
You have two redraws across the whole draft. A redraw replaces the current five-choice pool with another pool for that same role. It does not cost a team slot. Previously drafted identities cannot return in a different form. Save a redraw when the current options already fit your plan.
Choose 17 or 82 battles
After the sixth confirmation, the game simulates your chosen 17 or 82 battles against randomized six-character rivals. Both sides use the same role weights, team chemistry and seeded battle variation. Open a battle to see the opposing characters, or filter the chronicle to victories or defeats.
Unlimited or daily?
Unlimited play lets you begin fresh drafts or replay a completed draft under its saved rules. Daily play offers one server-saved attempt per anonymous browser identity on the UTC date. Scores and abilities are part of an unofficial fan simulation; there are no live opponents or canonical power measurements.

The 82–0 marathon
In unlimited play, choose a 17-battle season or an 82-battle marathon before drafting. After any completed regular 17-battle run, take the same team to 82: the first 17 results remain fixed and 65 battles are added. Existing losses remain losses. Extending a daily team creates an unlimited run without changing the daily result or streaks. Opponents in edition three fill proper roles and scout more candidates after round 17, without hidden stat bonuses.
Challenge a friend
After finishing, choose “Share team to battle a friend.” Your friend opens the invite, drafts six characters, then faces your squad in 17 or 82 simulated battles. To compare drafting choices against the same season instead, choose the same-season challenge option. These games keep daily scores and streaks separate.
