82-Battle Anime Draft: Marathon or Manage 82?
AnimeDrafts offers several ways to keep playing with a six-character team. An 82–0 record is a goal, not a promised outcome. Choose the mode based on the decisions you want to make.
Instant 82-battle marathon
- Open the draft room, choose Unlimited, then choose the 82-battle season length.
- Fill six assigned roles from the offered pools. You share two redraws across all picks.
- Confirm your sixth pick to simulate all 82 battles. Expand round details to inspect opponents and scores.
You can also finish a regular 17-battle season and extend that same squad to 82. Its first 17 results stay fixed. In the current regular edition, opposition scouts two candidates per role for rounds 1–17 and three for rounds 18–82. No new picks or tactical choices are required during the extension. Daily and weekly attempts remain 17 battles.
Manage 82: make decisions between segments
After a finished draft, choose Manage this team over 82 battles, or bring a saved squad from My teams. Start a management season, scout its next segment, and decide when to use Press or Control. Segments contain 20, 20, 20 and 22 battles; use each plan twice. When only one plan remains, the remaining segments resolve automatically.
Press emphasizes Power and Speed; Control emphasizes Strategy and Support. Each replaces 35% of both squads’ average weighted role score with its featured attributes. Chemistry and seeded variation still apply. This creates a new schedule under pinned management rules; it does not preserve or extend the first 17 battles of your original season.
Learn from the management report
The report shows your longest winning streak, segment results and the difference against a no-plan baseline on the same schedule. Replay that schedule to change only your plan order and compare against your previous result. The suggested swap is an experiment, not a predicted improvement. Starting a new schedule replaces that comparison.
82 battles against a friend
Share a finished team, then let your friend open the invite and choose 82 battles. They build their own six and face your exact squad in every round, using current ratings on both sides. This answers a different question from playing 82 changing opponents. A shared matchup or rematch is not a global competitive ranking.
What saves and what stays separate?
Unlimited and management progress is stored in this browser, with no account sync. Manage 82 keeps one management season at a time and asks before replacing it with an incoming squad. Clearing browser storage or switching devices loses those local saves. Daily and weekly progress use separate browser cookies. Management play leaves daily streaks, weekly bests and friend records separate.
